Kevin Hogan

Kevin has worked at the highest levels of international climate diplomacy – including as the Sherpa and Special Advisor to Mary Robinson, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Climate Change and former President of Ireland. In this role, Kevin was closely involved in political efforts to conclude the Paris Climate Accord. Previously, he was a Deputy on the UN Secretary-General’s High Level Advisory Group on Climate Finance, which was co-chaired by the then Prime Minister of Norway. Kevin has liaised closely with most G7 and G20 countries, and supported the complementary efforts of private sector and philanthropic leaders. For 8 years, Kevin was an Advisor to the President of Guyana and worked closely with the Government of Norway on the countries’ bilateral forest agreement, while also supporting Norway’s broader REDD+ agenda. He started his career in the private sector, becoming a Senior Manager at Accenture and later a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company.
